Recreation Coaches
Everything Recreation Coaches need to know before, during, and after the season!

Risk Management (Required)
All Recreation head and assistant coaches need to be "risk managed", which means complete and pass North Carolina Youth Soccer Association's (NCYSA) Risk Management system. This must be done before practices start and you MUST notify your area administrator so they can begin the process of Risk Management and perform a background check.
Coaches Meeting & License
Recreation Coaches should plan on attending the Coaches Meeting and Volunteer Coaches License class on Saturday, August 5. The meeting will address important changes, updates and information for the upcoming season.
Survival Guide
This printable guide reviews everything you need to bring or do to have a successful Fall 2017 season.
Medical Waiver
Teams must have an NCFC Medical Waiver signed by a parent or guardian of each rostered player. The waiver must be complete and present at every game.
Practice Plans
Never plan a practice this Fall! Simply print, study and execute the predesigned practice sessions created specifically for each Recreation age group.
Rules of Play
Make sure you understand the rules of the age group you are coaching. Is there offsides? How long is a half? What size ball do we use?
Roster
U9-U19 Coaches must bring a copy of their roster to each game. Access your roster here.
Uniforms
All U5-U12 players need to wear the NCFC required adidas red and navy jerseys.
U13-U19 Recreational players' uniforms are organized by coaches, so they are not required to purchase these uniforms. Coaches should contact their teams weeks before their first game to make sure everyone has a uniform.
