Classic Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation of NCYSA Classic Games/Referee Fees:
**This policy pertains to Classic and Juniors games played on NCFC Youth fields only. It does not apply to weather closures or acts of God.**
NCFC Youth Juniors teams may request to reschedule a game scheduled on a NCFC Youth field within the following time frames with no penalty:
1. Any game scheduled for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday must be cancelled/rescheduled NO LATER than 1pm on the Monday before the
game.
2. Any game scheduled on a weeknight (Monday – Thursday) must be cancelled/rescheduled no later than 5 days before the scheduled game
date.
If a team determines that it needs to cancel a NCFC Youth Classic/Juniors scheduled match after the above stated deadlines, the team is responsible to pay the referees as they have already been scheduled for the original match. The team will also be responsible for any field rental fees incurred by NCFC Youth.
If either a NCFC Youth team or the non-NCFC Youth team decides to cancel a match, the team requesting the cancellation must pay the referee fees for both teams along with any field rental fees incurred by NCFC Youth.
The NCFC Youth team manager is responsible to notify the non-NCFC Youth team of their financial responsibility. Cancelled matches cannot be rescheduled until the total amount of the referee fees for the cancelled match along with any field rental fees are received in the NCFC Youth office. Checks should be made payable to NCFC Youth with the match number written on the check and sent to the attention of the Financial Administrator at the NCFC Youth office (5017 Memory Rd., Raleigh, 27609).
If the cancellation is mutual AND within the stated window, teams can decide to split the cost of the referee fees. The NCFC Youth team manager is responsible to notify the non-NCFC Youth team of their financial responsibility. Cancelled matches cannot be rescheduled until the total amount of the referee fees along with any field rental fees for the cancelled match is received in the NCFC Youth office. Checks should be made payable to NCFC Youth with the match number written on the check and sent to the attention of the Financial Administrator at the NCFC Youth office (5017 Memory Rd., Raleigh, 27609).
Referee fees may be found at the NC Youth Soccer website, www.ncsoccer.org.
In the event of a weather cancellation or field closure, the NCFC Youth team manager will need to contact the opposing team to discuss possible reschedule dates and times. Once dates and times have been agreed upon the NCFC Youth team manager will need to contact the NCFC Youth field scheduler.
