TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a US Youth Soccer community-based soccer program that is designed to meet the needs of athletes ages up to age 18 with physical, developmental or intellectual disabilities. The program is geared toward player development rather than competition. Athletes are placed on teams according to ability NOT by age.

TOPSoccer and NCFC Youth
Part of NCFC Youth's mission is to "provide positive and high-quality youth soccer opportunities at all levels of play," and US Youth Soccer's TOPSoccer is a great program to help carry out this mission.
Special Needs
TOPSoccer athletes are up to age 18 with a disability including but not limited to: A.D.D., Autism, Hearing Impaired, Sight Impaired, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Cystic Fibrosis, Down Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Seizure Disorder and Spinal Bifida. Ages
Athletes up to age 18.
Seasons
TOPSoccer is played in the Fall (end of August - end of October) and Spring (mid March- end of April). Players have the option of playing one or two seasons.

TOPSoccer practices start at5:30pm and run one hour.

Coaches and Buddies
Each session we will have a group of trained coaches and buddies to lead the athletes during practices. Buddies are assigned to athletes who require one-on-one attention in order to succeed. Buddies could be NCFC Youth players, siblings or volunteers who will be trained prior to the sessions.

TOPSoccer Coordinators

Meet TOPSoccer Coordinators Tonya and Olivia Delborne. Olivia (daughter) learned about TOPSoccer as a volunteer buddy with her Colorado soccer club before moving to Raleigh in 2013. Tonya (mother) has a masters degree in social service administration and has worked as a professional photographer. Together they bring their passion for working with TOPSoccer athletes to NCFC Youth.
