TOPSoccer Coordinators
Meet TOPSoccer Coordinators Tonya and Olivia Delborne. Olivia (daughter) learned about TOPSoccer as a volunteer buddy with her Colorado soccer club before moving to Raleigh in 2013. Tonya (mother) has a masters degree in social service administration and is now a professional photographer. Together they bring their passion for working with TOPSoccer athletes to CASL.

TOPSoccer Buddies
Each session we will have a group of trained coaches and buddies to lead the athletes during practices. Buddies are assigned to athletes who require one-on-one attention in order to succeed. Buddies will typically be CASL players, siblings or volunteers who will be trained prior to the sessions. We do our best to choose buddies each season who can be at every practice to provide stability for the athlete.

We believe the best experience for most athletes comes in the relationship that they build with their buddy. For this reason, we pair our buddies and athletes for the entire season, and give preference to buddies who can attend every session.
Buddies should be at least 13 years of age.
The number of buddies accepted depends on the number of athletes that register. Buddy applicants will hear back from program coordinators about two weeks before season starts about whether they have been chosen to participate.
