Juniors Development Program

Program Information

The NCFC Juniors Development Program (JDP) is a supplemental training option for U7-U8 players. JDP is staffed by Juniors directors and coaches who will provide age appropriate instruction with a strong emphasis on technical development. JDP will help bridge the gap between recreational soccer and competitive soccer, and grow each player’s love for the game. Participants are encouraged to play recreational soccer and participate in JDP to fulfill their desire to train and play more.

Eligible Players

Players must satisfy both requirements in order to register for JDP:
1. Born in 2010 or 2011
2. Not currently registered with another NCYSA club*

Trainings & Seasons

JDP will run in the Fall and Spring. During each season, there will be eight 75-minute training sessions on Wednesday nights.

Games/Festivals

We will hold 2 small sided festivals each season for all JDP players at WakeMed Soccer Park. The festivals will take place 2 hours prior to a NC Courage and NCFC league game. Each player will receive free entry into the game following the festival.

Festival #1
5:30pm Festival | 7:30pm kick-off | September 9 | NC Courage vs. Houston Dash

Festival #2
2:00pm Festival | 4:00pm kick-off | October 1 | NCFC vs. Indy Eleven

Location

JDP will be available in the following regions. Players should register in the region that is most convenient for them.

North: North & East of Hwy 70 (typically Raleigh & Wake Forest)
South: South & West of Hwy 70 (typically Cary, Apex & Morrisville)
DCH: Durham & Chapel Hill
HSFV: Holly Springs & Fuquay Varina
